What is Community Inclusion?

Community Inclusion is a very simple idea. To be included is to be accepted and to be able to participate fully within our families, our communities and our society. Those who are excluded, whether because of disability, poverty, gender, race or lack of education, do not have the opportunity for full participation in the economic and social benefits of society. Social inclusion values difference while at the same time celebrating those things we have in common.

We are dedicated to advocating for accessible, affordable transportation. In June of 2008 we co-sponsored the “Imagine No Barriers” Inclusive Transportation Forum in Wolfville NS.

If you feel excluded from any aspect of your community -- whether it be your workplace, transportation, school, health care, recreational facility, etc. --  please call our offices.
